Simplify Bulk Downloads: Download Folders as ZIP

Managing and transferring multiple files can be cumbersome. CompleteFTP streamlines this process by allowing users to download an entire folder as a single, compressed ZIP file. This feature, available across FTP, FTPS, and HTTPS, dynamically generates the ZIP archive on-the-fly without writing it to the server's disk, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Convenient and Efficient

Whether users are working from command-line scripts, APIs, or the intuitive CompleteFTP Web File Manager, downloading a folder as a ZIP archive is straightforward. In the Web File Manager, a simple right-click option initiates the download. For other clients, appending .folder.zip to the folder's path is all that's needed.

This capability is distinct from our ZIP File Navigation feature, which allows browsing into existing ZIP archives. Together, these features offer comprehensive and flexible handling of archived and grouped files.
