CompleteFTP (Professional and Enterprise MFT editions) provides a convenient Account Management web application, empowering your users to manage basic aspects of their accounts without needing to contact an administrator. This reduces administrative burden and improves user satisfaction.

User Self-Service Capabilities

Accessed via a web browser, the Account Management app allows users to:

  • View Account Details: See their username and home folder.
  • Change Passwords: If permitted by server policy, users can securely change their own passwords.
  • Manage Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Users can set up new devices for 2FA (if enabled on the server for HTTPS) and view or regenerate backup codes.

This self-service portal is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, providing users with greater control over their account security and preferences.
